Our annual Senior Dance will take place on Tuesday, June 21st from 5:00 PM to 9:00PM at the Douglaston Manor. All 8th grade students are invited and encouraged to attend the Senior Dance, where, no COVID restrictions apply at this time, per NYCDOE policy.
Students should plan to arrive at the Douglaston Manor by 5:00PM, where formal attire is recommended, but not required. Security and school personnel will be present on site to ensure that proper parental permission has been granted, as well as that students are dressed properly and are not carrying any prohibited items.
Cost of this year’s Senior Dance is $60.00, and includes but is not limited to the following:
Rental of the Douglaston Manor, including waitresses and staff
Greeting Hour with passed appetizers
Unlimited buffet dinner, dessert
Unlimited soda, coffee and tea
DJ, Emcee, Giveaways from Super Mix Entertainment
All taxes, tips and gratuities
The dance will be chaperoned by teachers, and administrators. We want every child to enjoy the dance, but we expect appropriate behavior throughout the evening. All school rules are in effect during this dance, and if any issues arise parents will be asked to pick up their child early from the dance.
We ask all parents to be prompt when picking up their children or to have arrangements in place prior to the evening of the dance. The dance will end at exactly 9:00PM. There can be no supervision for students waiting for their parents after that time.
